Review: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

An average book, with sci-fi comedy, I would suggest to go for star wars series, if you are looking for Sci-fi comedy, it is far better than this one and plus it has all the dramas. Though there are some lines which actually make this book a good book.

"Bypasses are devices which allow some people to drive from point A to point B very fast whilst
other people dash from point B to point A very fast. People living at point C, being a point
directly in between, are often given to wonder what’s so great about point A that so many people
of point B are so keen to get there, and what’s so great about point B that so many people of
point A are so keen to get there. They often wish that people would just once and for all work out
where the hell they wanted to be."

"In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."

"A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools."

"Would it save you a lot of time if I just gave up and went mad now?"
